Our Vinyl Coated S Hook with Safety Latch uses the same great design as our vinyl-coated s hook hardware used on our 1-inch and 2-inch ratchet straps. This hardware includes a safety latch that once secured in place is not at risk of coming unsecured while on the road.
The Safety Latch helps to keep the straps in place as you tighten them down and to help provide you with peace of mind that your hardware will not come unsecured while tightening or while on the road once fully secured. However, this hook is nearly the same size as our traditional s hook hardware with different load capacities.
Our Vinyl Coated S Hook with Safety Latch features a 3,000 lbs breaking strength and a safe assembly working load limit rating of 833 lbs. The vinyl protective coating helps to protect the heavy-duty metal hardware from scratches, dents, dings, and potential corrosion such as rust.
