Standard winch bars are used to tighten winch straps in winches. They have a tapered mushroom tip that slides into standard flatbed winches and a knurled, non-slip handle. Winch bars provide the leverage you need to secure your load and release the straps.
DO NOT USE STANDARD WINCH BARS TO TIGHTEN CHAIN BINDERS OR RATCHETS.
Do not use any type of device to increase leverage, such as a cheater bar or metal pipe, this can create enough force to break the bar during tightening or release. If the tightening device breaks, it may cause serious injury or death to the user and/or others.
